JAMB Subject Combination For Agronomy
The required JAMB subject subject combination for Agronomy are:
Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Physics or Mathematics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) CRUTECH requires Mathematics, Physics and any of Biology or Chemistry.
(ii) UNIOSUN requires Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and any other science subjects.
WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Agronomy
The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Agronomy under the faculty of are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes in Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Geography or Economics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) ABSU requires a credit pass in Physics.
(ii) ESUT accepts pass in Physics.
(iii) CRUTECH require in addition to UTME requirements at least a pass in Physics.
(iv) LAUTECH requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, mathematics, Physics, Agric. Sci. or Biology.
(v) UNIOSUN requires five’O’ Level credit passes in the SSCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings in addition to an acceptable credit pass in the UME.
(vi) MOUAU same as in Agricultural Economics.
(vii) FUAM requires five credit passes in Biology or Agriculture Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language, Physics or any other Science subjects. Accepts a pass in Physics.
(viii) TASU requires five credit passes in Biology or Agric. Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and one of Physics, Geography or Economics. UTME requirement with a pass in Physics is acceptable.
