To make this official, this is a notice to inform all JAMB and WAEC candidates who will be sitting for the upcoming JAMB examination that JAMB subject combination for Education and Science has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Keep in mind that the JAMB subject combinations as well as the o level (WAEC) requirements mentioned on this post are only meant for Education and Science under the faculty of Education.

JAMB Subject Combination For Education and Science

The required JAMB subject subject combination for Education and Science are:

Three relevant Science or NBC subjects

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNN requires English Language and any three (3) Science subjects – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Health Science, Agric Science.

WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Education and Science

The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Education and Science under the faculty of are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and two other Science subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UI does not accept TC II.

(ii) RSUST accepts a pass in English Language and Mathematics in exceptional cases.

(iii) FUTMINNA requires any three other science subject.

(iv) UNN requires Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and two other Science subjects. one subject must be the proposed teaching subject.

For Integrated Science
Five credit passes which includes a credit in at least one Science subject and pass in two other Science subjects.

(v) UI accepts only N.C.E. in relevant courses and does not accept TCIII.

(vi) NDU requires five O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects, two of which must be science subjects in not more than two sittings.
