To make this official, this is a notice to inform all JAMB and WAEC candidates who will be sitting for the upcoming JAMB examination that JAMB subject combination for Geography and Planning has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The required JAMB subject subject combination for Geography and Planning are:

Geography and any two Arts subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIJOS requires five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, and Geography in addition to any other two Social Sciences or Science subjects. Accepts credit in Zoology, Physics, Agricultural Science and credit in English Language.

WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Geography and Planning

The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Geography and Planning under the faculty of are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes to include English, Mathematics and Geography.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNIJOS requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Geography in addition to any other two Social Science or Science subjects.

(ii) ABSU requires five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any other two subjects from Economics, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts and Social Studies. Also requires credit in any two of Arts, Sciences or Social Sciences subjects.

(iii) UNIJOS accepts IJMB passes including Geography. Also accepts National or Higher National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning or Lang Surveying at credit and above levels
