To make this official, this is a notice to inform all JAMB and WAEC candidates who will be sitting for the upcoming JAMB examination that JAMB and WAEC subject combination for Russian has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Keep in mind that the JAMB subject combinations as well as the o level (WAEC) requirements mentioned on this post are only meant for Russian under the faculty of Arts and Humanities.

JAMB Subject Combination For Russian

The required JAMB subject subject combination for Russian are:

Five SSCE credit passes including French and English Language plus at least one other Arts subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UI requires Literature in English plus one Arts subjects and any other Arts or Social Science subject.

(ii) UNILAG – Literature in English and any two other Arts or Social Science subjects.

(iii) UNN require English Language and any three other subjects.

WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Russian

The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Russian under the faculty of are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes including French and English Language plus at least one other Arts subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UI requires Literature in English plus one Arts subjects and any other Arts or Social Science subject.

(ii) UNN requires ‘O’ level credit pass in English Language and four other subjects. History or Literature will be an advantage.

(iii) UI accepts ‘O’ level in Literature in English and other Arts and Social Science subjects.
